Team
Our team brings years of experience in rescue and activism, and is passionately dedicated to making a difference. We are excited about the future ahead and committed to continuing our impactful work. Together, we strive to create positive change and hope to inspire others to join our mission.

President, Board of Directors and Founder
Audrey Quillin
Audrey got her start in animal rescue work in 2014, after moving to San Antonio, Texas and seeing firsthand the devastating impacts of the animal overpopulation crisis.
Audrey is a veteran of the United States Army where she worked as a cryptologic Arabic linguist. She studied Linguistics and Middle Eastern Languages and Cultures at the University of Texas at Austin, and has over a decade of experience in animal rescue. She believes that raising the standard of care for all farmed animals, but especially birds, is vitally needed within the sanctuary world and without. As an activist and sanctuary operator, Audrey fights daily for the liberation of all animals and their freedom from exploitation.

Secretary, Board of Directors
Sarah Stegeman
Sarah a Board Member and also the Founder of our neighboring sanctuary, Sweet Peace.
Sarah holds a Master’s degree in Humane Leadership and is currently pursuing a doctorate at Antioch University. For more than a decade she has worked and volunteered with animals, focusing on rescue, rehabilitation, and humane education.
Her work is guided by the belief that all animals possess inherent worth and individuality. Through the sanctuary, Sarah strives to promote compassion and inspire a more ethical and sustainable relationship between humans and other animals.

Treasurer, Board of Directors
Shawn Quillin
Shawn is the board treasurer and the unsung hero of much of the behind the scenes work that keeps the sanctuary moving! Whether it is managing expense reports, building infrastructure, or snuggling a resident, Shawn puts his whole heart into everything he
does and the sanctuary undoubtedly would not be where it is today without him! Shawn is a veteran of the United States Army and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer software engineering. He has over a decade of experience in the animal rescue nonprofit space and is passionate about giving the absolute best care to
each and every resident.

At Good Sprout, we are deeply committed to promoting farmed animal welfare and creating a positive impact in the community.
